In order to assure both quality and hygiene at the
processing and production stages, we at Rumi Japan
(Morimatsu Suisan Reito Co., Ltd.), have continued to
pursue the latest methods in food safety above and beyond
the requirements of our HACCP certification (issued in
April, 2000). Furthermore, we fully understand the workplace
organizational roles of 5S, and have promoted constant
improvements in our workplace environment in conformity
with HACCP standards. We make strong efforts to create
safe and reliable products with the awareness that we
privileged to work in an HACCP-certified company. The
slogan for all of our workers is "we produce food that we
would be happy to feed our own children."

In January 2004 Morimatsu Suisan Reito was certified under the
rigorous EUHACCP standard. Under this certification we have
had to qualify and quantify our production processes, thereby:
1. Further enhancing our company’s social standing.
2. Further proving the quality and safety of our products.
3. Heightening the safety and social awareness of all
employees.
4. Strengthening our corporate competitiveness and social
responsibility.
With this certification we are also able to 
export our products
directly to consumers in the European Union and spread the
wonderful world of the Japanese diet to 
a wider audience.
As a company we are determined to spread our wings on the
international stage.

We at Morimatsu Suisan Reito Company have always been
determined to produce the safest and best quality product
that we can. With our HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical
Control Point) certification we have instituted systems that
quantify our caution in production, resulting in greater
confidence for our customers in regards to product safety.
The original HACCP system was developed in the US in the
1960s but has been enhanced in manifold since then.
The HACCP system works by evaluating food safety at all
stages of the production process to ensure that foodstuffs
are never subject to the risk of contamination or damage.
The system works all through the supply chain to cover
control points during procurement, production, distribution
and retailing. The international HACCP standard has not only
provided us with a marketing edge, but it also marks
Morimatsu Suisan Reito as a world class company, a company
that holds product safety as crucial to ongoing success in
markets both around the corner and around the world.

BRC

HACCP

BRC is a food safety standard issued by the British Retail Consortium, focusing on food safety and health management, legal compliance and quality control. This standard seeks BRC standard acquisition as a trading condition overseas as well as retailers in other European countries as well as the UK. The sites that obtain certification are classified into A to D ranks, and the quality of strict examinations is required of certification bodies and certification assessors, so certification is evaluated in transactions with the US and Europe.
